I don't think I have ever been more motivated to travel around the globe (other than reading this) than when watching this excellent video. Well done, Matt Harding ! You made me laugh, enjoy music and want to go trekking around the world with a handycam.

I am currently a research scientist with the Text, Language and Computation group at Educational Testing Service. I was a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. I do research for the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) in the areas of Statistical Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics. I graduated with a B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) and got my M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland itself. I then decided that I like writing buggy computer software a little more than creating failure-prone computer hardware and so I switched to Computer Science.

I think this is a recent development - google videos not available in India,that is.I used to see some f1 archives long way back.
And yes,being wanderlust.Small small incidents like this prompts you to travel.The big step is about taking that big step :-).One of my online friend just quit his work @ Microsoft,US,came back and treked with me.He recently completed his solo-"ChaloNorthEastIndia" project.
